Gabriel Kahane: Elevator Songs for Nine Voices and Mixed Ensemble
Continuously pushing the boundaries of a cappella art—that is the mission of the American vocal ensemble Roomful of Teeth. Their range of vocal techniques spans from synthetic, polished sounds to beatboxing and raw throat singing. Singer-songwriter Gabriel Kahane wrote *Elevator Songs* for the ensemble: whimsical and contemplative encounters in the elevator of an interdimensional hotel. An evening filled with moving and heartwarming music from the U.S.
