Pushing the boundaries of a cappella art - this is the mission of the American vocal band Roomful of Teeth. Their spectrum of vocal techniques ranges from synthetic high-gloss sound to beatboxing and rough throat singing. Singer-songwriter Gabriel Kahane wrote Elevator Songs for the ensemble: bizarre and thought-provoking encounters in the elevator of an interdimensional hotel. An evening full of touching and embracing music from the USA.
