Rosenmontag mit DJ Toddy in der StäV

In the organizer's words:

The historic Böttcherstraße was once one of the most important connecting routes between the Rhine - sorry: Weser - and the market square. And it is precisely in this famous street that you will find us in Haus St. Petrus, which was built in 1923-26 as a restaurant. In its small-scale architecture with bay windows, gables and arcades, it combines the English country house style with traditional Hanseatic elements. And in addition to Bremen specialties, we offer Rhenish dishes and of course Kölsch beer in our StäV... and of course the Rhenish way of life, and here it is important to show the cool north what it means to celebrate Rhenish!
What is the meaning of Rose Monday?

The term Rosenmontag is probably derived from the West Central German "rosen", meaning "to romp" or "to race". Rosenmontag originally meant "wild" or "wild" Monday, which initially seems to have nothing to do with roses. Rose Monday was first documented in Cologne shortly after 1830.
