When Little Red Riding Hood is supposed to bring cake and wine to her sick and almost blind grandmother, she is warned urgently about the "evil wolf". But in the forest, Little Red Riding Hood meets a desperate heap of misery, the wolf. He assures her that he will not harm a soul and complains that everything that happens in the forest or in the village is blamed on him. Little Red Riding Hood believes the poor wolf, but is disappointed when she hears that poor Grandmother's wine and cake have been stolen - by the wolf, as Grandmother says. Little Red Riding Hood confronts him, and it soon emerges that someone is up to mischief at the wolf's expense. This villain must be convicted. So the wolf disguises himself as Grandma and lies in her bed. And as the fake wolf comes .... but we don't want to give too much away.
