Proyecto La tierra mía, sus voces y ecos

La tierra mía, sus voces y ecos is a tribute to the simple and pure vocal forms of early flamenco art, which gave rise to a multitude of variations and styles in flamenco (palos) and still characterize it today. It is de la Ana's commitment to his Andalusian roots to pay homage to the heritage that made today's high level of virtuosity in singing (cante), guitar playing (toque) and dancing (baile) possible in the first place.

The project aims to show the high art of interpretation of individual palos del flamenco in all its diversity, also in dance. With Ana Galan Galvez, Rubin de la Ana presents a master dancer from Chipiona Cádiz after Fernando Galán.

With La tierra mía, sus voces y ecos, Rubin de la Ana portrays an impressive picture of the centuries-old tradition of flamenco art from its beginnings to the present day. De la Ana perfects traditional flamenco sounds by merging them with the timbres of saxophone, cello and violin on the one hand and flute and/or piano on the other, thus creating unique soundscapes. The result convinces with great harmonies: ¡Flamenco puro arte!
