Ruhr(W)ort poetry slam

The RUHR(W)ORT Poetry Slam is at home in the heart of Duisburg's harbor district and offers a stage for poetry, comedy and short stories. Numerous artists regularly inspire the audience in the Ruhrort creative quarter.

The rules are simple: 6 minutes on stage, the texts must be self-written, no props - that's it! Whether funny or sad, poetry or prose, earth-shattering or simply entertaining - (almost) anything is possible. The audience is the jury and chooses the winner at the end of an unforgettable evening.

The literary grab bag is hosted and organized by experienced poetry slammers Max Schmolke and Leon Hanke.
