The song of the twelve years is a traditional Mongolian folk song whose verses introduce the twelve signs of the zodiac of Asian astrology and their characteristics. This song has been passed down from mouth to mouth in the Mongolian language and its poetry is unique. In the south of the Gobi Desert, in the Bayan-Gobi Soum, the five-year-old girl Ankhaa lives with her family on the sacred "Bogd" mountain, 2500 meters above sea level. She sings the "Twelve Year Song". The film deals with the nomadic lifestyle and the connection to nature in today's capitalist times.

In a densely interwoven essay text and the use of few images, the film reflects our changed relationship to the future.

There was an accident where a plane crashed. And there were news and pictures that conveyed the accident. An image has remained as a symbol representing the event. Although this image can be different from personal memory, it also affects personal memory. The accident was fleeting, but its ripples have not ceased. The anxiety of families who have experienced disasters is passed down through generations. This film is the voice of an eyewitness with inaccurate memories and an unreliable testimony engulfed by infantile fear.
