Rundgang: Kunst im öffentlichen Raum

Since the 1950s, many works of art have been created in Bremen's urban space as part of the 'Kunst am Bau' and 'Kunst im öffentlichen Raum' programs. The most famous work in Walle is probably the Waller Welle by Gary Rieveschl on Nordstraße, which has been delighting not only the residents of Wall every spring for 40 years. Many other works of art, however, are not always immediately recognizable as such, such as Achim Manz's building on Bremerhavener Straße. On this tour, Angela Piplak presents well-known and lesser-known sculptures, murals and installations and introduces the artistic wealth of Wallen.
