On August 18, JunkYard Dortmund will be all about uncompromising thrash metal: Sacred Reich, one of the defining bands of the American scene, will return to the stage - raw, political and with unbroken energy.

Since the late 80s, Sacred Reich have stood for powerful thrash with attitude. Classics such as "Surf Nicaragua" or "The American Way" have long since earned the band cult status. Decades after their formation, Sacred Reich still prove live why they are one of the most important voices in the genre: precise riffs, powerful grooves and an intensity that sets every stage in motion.

They will be supported by Aquilla, who will open the evening with powerful riffs, epic melodies and classic heavy metal spirit. The band combines traditional influences with modern power and delivers the perfect prelude to an evening full of energy and passion.
