Munich-based Chriz Rappel founded Saguru in 2016, inspired by heroes such as Alex Turner, Bon Iver and Ben Howard, and released his first songs. A voice that carries more years of life than Rappel can count. A precisely crafted, colorful sound - the combination of guitar, radiant vocals and gentle, yet powerful electronica - makes Saguru a gem, a treasure chest.

Many of the songs are about the process of coming to terms with oneself and finding one's place in the world. Created from personal experiences, they speak to people who are going through similar things. The lyrics are honest, approachable and create a high identification factor. Saguru's music can give comfort, create understanding and provide emotional support.
