Jacopo Sabina performs in Italy and Germany and has worked with renowned conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Andrea Marcon, Stefano Montanari, Andrea De Carlo, Ivor Bolton and Gianluca Capuano. As a continuo player, he regularly performs with the Bavarian State Opera, the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, the Hofkapelle Munich, the Teatro Real Madrid, the Munich Bach Orchestra, the Capella Sollertia, the Ensemble Mare Nostrum, etc.
He has been invited to perform as a soloist and continuo player at various early music festivals:
Festival Resonanzen (Vienna), Wunderkammer (Trieste), Ambronay (France), Vivat Curlandia (Latvia), Residenzwoche (Munich), Bayreuth Baroque etc.
In 2017, he won the audience prize in the "SPIELWIESE Young Talent Competition" of the Cologne Early Music Festival with the ensemble Messa di Voce. In March 2019, he won the scholarship of the German Music Competition with the ensemble Caladrius. In May 2019, he won all three main prizes at the Göttingen Handel Competition with Ensemble Caladrius, and in July 2019 he was awarded second prize at the lute competition in Aquila (jury: Paul O'Dette).
