Two violins, a cello, a piano - and an abundance of creative energy: the four virtuosos have been performing in the world's most renowned concert halls for over 20 years, delighting their audiences with crazy parlor rides between Vivaldi and vocal acrobatics, tango and crime scene, rap and Rachmaninov.

With their new program "heimat", Salut Salon will also be celebrating the finale of a concert trilogy from 2025: "love" and "dreams" are now followed by the next big, almost all-encompassing theme. A word that comes naturally to the lips. And yet it immediately raises the question: What exactly is it exactly? Is home a place? A tradition? A feeling? Is it the people who surround you? Or perhaps words, languages, sounds?

In any case, home is a very moving subject - especially for the musicians of Salut Salon, who come from far-flung homelands between Hamburg and Estonia, Ukraine and the USA and now perform together in all corners of the world.

On all these journeys, the quartet has collected pieces of all kinds with open ears and a keen ear. And it is precisely these that they now bring to the stage in unmistakable Salut Salon style: works by Mozart, Saint-Saëns or Copeland, songs from Finland, France and Egypt, the unknown, the famous, their own compositions and, of course, as in every one of their programs: Tango Nuevo by Astor Piazzolla. Pieces in which the question of the wondrous nature of this word resonates again and again, in the most diverse ways: Home - what is it? And with the somnambulistic naturalness with which the four musicians tame this incredibly diverse cosmos of sound and transform it into a wonderful concert evening, they also give their very own answer: Salut Salon are at home in the world - and their home is music.
