Portrait of a voice of the century
"I'll be back!" announced Samara Joy after her acclaimed Elbphilharmonie debut in November 2023 - now the young jazz singer with the goosebump voice is keeping her word and returning with her third album "Portrait". The five-time Grammy award winner, who is often compared to greats such as Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald, presents classics in new arrangements as well as originals and her own lyrics to jazz standards.
