Samstags im Museum: Kostümatelier für die ganze Familie mit Kurzvortrag „Karneval in der Welt und in Oberschlesien“
In the organizer's words:
The fifth season is celebrated all over the world with imaginative, colorful and funny costumes. Be it the joyful carnival season in Upper Silesia, the colorful Brazilian carnival at Sugar Loaf Mountain or the charismatic Carnevale in Venice. The traditions are diverse and yet they all have one thing in common: they celebrate the time before Lent, which ultimately culminates in the highest festival of the Christian faith, Easter. After a short lecture on this topic, costumes will be designed and made together in the costume workshop.
