In the organizer's words:
In Upper Silesia, Easter is associated with numerous traditions. One of these is to decorate small baskets with colorful decorations and fill them with fresh food such as bread, butter, babka (an Upper Silesian cake), sausage and eggs. These are blessed during a mass on Easter Vigil or Holy Saturday and then eaten at a family Easter breakfast. In keeping with this tradition, colorful Easter baskets are created in the museum, which are then filled with little surprises during an egg hunt in and around the museum.
