☕📖 Tea time with Dirk Hegmanns

Dirk Hegmanns is the guest at this year's literary meeting of the Heinrich Heine Society. He will be reading from his book "Kriege in der Mitte der Welt" (2024, AKRES Publishing), which tells a love story in the Turkish-Syrian war.

Dirk Hegmanns, born in Düsseldorf in 1957, has travelled the world for the United Nations, the Red Cross and other organizations - and now lives back in his home town. After the reading passages, there will be an opportunity to talk to him about the book and his work.

Jan Michaelis, author and regional spokesperson for VS-NRW Düsseldorf, will moderate the discussion and also present current publications by writers from the region.

The Tea Time is aimed at members of the Heinrich Heine Society and anyone interested in literature - there will be plenty of opportunity for conversation in a relaxed atmosphere!
