Sascha im Quadrat has been held in the Capitol Mannheim casino since 2012. As has been customary for over a decade, Sascha Kleinophorst, Sascha Krebs, Frank Schäffer and Christof Brill will invite a musical guest once a month in 2026. They will play whatever is fun. Unique cover versions of well-known songs meet incomparable humor.

The series has now achieved cult status - not least because of the ROCKTzuHAUSE streams during the two lockdowns.

Guest in April: Melanie Gebhard
Melanie was born and grew up in the Swabian Alb. In 2003, she made the decision to train for the musical stage in Hamburg. She can now look back on a long career as a professional musical actress.
She has played many leading roles in well-known musicals, including Elphaba in WICKED - DIE HEXEN VON OZ (Stuttgart, Oberhausen), Lisa Wartberg in ICH WAR NOCH NIEMALS IN NEW YORK (Vienna), Baroness von Waldstätten in MOZART! (Duisburg, Shanghai), Molly in GHOST (Berlin), Kate Mullins in TITANIC (Bad Hersfeld), Abbess of Kirklees in the world premiere of the musical ROBIN HOOD (Fulda), written by Chris de Burgh and others. She was also engaged for the 2020 New Year's production of MY FAIR LADY at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. She has been a regular on the stages of the Plauen-Zwickau Theatre since 2022, where she has previously appeared as Morticia Addams in the comedy musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY, as Morgana in ARTUS EXCALIBUR and in the role of the evil Queen Endora in the German premiere of the musical SNOW WHITE & ME.
In addition to her work on stage, Melanie also works as a vocal coach and rhetoric trainer. She can also be seen in TV programs and commercials, as well as a presenter and soloist at many different events and galas. As well as with her singer duo project CARàMEL.
Her own annual musical gala with live band MUSICALLADIES & FRIENDS, which takes place in Balingen, will be in its eighth year in 2025.

Who are the Saschas?
Sascha Kleinophorst has performed with many rock bands, including as frontman of Brass Machine all over Germany and several times at the legendary jazz festival in Montreux. Like his partner in crime Sascha Krebs, he is also a long-standing member of the Capitol Ensemble with a large fan base. The fact that "little Sascha", as Sascha Krebs is also affectionately known, rocks just as much in an intimate setting as he does on the big stages with his band "The Queen Kings" is part of the success of Sascha im Quadrat.
They are congenially accompanied by Frank Schäffer on piano and Christof Brill on guitar! We at Capitol love our boys!
