the only event series that has always valued dystopian depression dementia as a legitimate driving force of artistic action, celebrates its 431st edition with a particularly down-to-earth booking. What's the saying? You can't pick your buddies. They're just there. And that's why we're welcoming the most intoxicating, most rattled and most landslide-tested of all Düsseldorf junglists, Filibraaaatiioooooooon!!!

But that doesn't mean that banalities might be blasted onto the dancefloor here. Fili has stood for the finest choppage and amen thunderstorms since the jungle book was invented. And even the dullest neuro-orc (i.e. me) would benefit from a decent lesson in saturation-soaked breakbeat. Is that how you say it?

As a career and cadre forge for the future of Rhenish breakbeat culture, we naturally also have an obligation to bring young talents to the plate, this time TILLTED, who is celebrating his WP8 premiere with a unique mix of jumpup, neuro and rollers and will hopefully be banging some wicked bass around our ears - don't fuck it up, kid!

Not enough has been said about HECTICAL and SAXE in Germany. But in certain circles it is. If you want to get an idea of what sound waves can do to synapses when they are played backwards from the future, the Saxon drum & bass feuilleton can invite you to get off the sofa with an eyebrow raiser. Future funk, friends! As dark and evil as nowhere else.
