In the organizer's words:

Alois Dallmayr, Heinrich Emmerling and Maria Winterhalter were Munich residents with plans, hopes and a future - until they were committed to the Eglfing-Haar sanatorium and nursing home.

They wrote letters of protest, which were withheld by the doctors, and they drew: themselves, the institution, the conditions. All three became victims of the Nazi "euthanasia" program.

The showcase exhibition presents these testimonies of creativity and self-assertion to the public for the first time. With the kind support of Kreativ München
