Have you heard of Schirrmann's? You'll find this extraordinary Bremen restaurant in Bremen Youth Hostel - in a prime location on the Weser and in the heart of the city. This is where the world meets! This also applies from a culinary point of view: the kitchen serves you an exciting crossover of "international" and "regional". Be sure to try it out!

Nordstadtsoul Ten years, twelve songs, a thousand stories

Nordstadtsoul is the first solo album by Dortmund singer/songwriter Hans Blücher, who has been making our world a little more sonorous with his cap and guitar for a decade now. In addition to the best of ten years of Hans, the album also features new songs that were created especially for the album. This takes us on a musical journey, not just through time, but halfway around the planet. Through the alleyways around Borsigplatz in the north of Dortmund, across the wide cycle paths of Copenhagen to the bombed-out streets of Mogadishu - because there are stories to tell about each of these places. It doesn't matter whether it's about big themes such as farewell and escape, intimate moments full of love and friendship or simply about the most beautiful minor matter in the world - soccer. Every story gets its moment in the spotlight and reports on things that move, fascinate and touch us.

Since August 2024, we have been offering you a special opportunity every second Sunday: at "Schirrmann's Lunch & Music".
You can expect not only delicacies à la carte, our varied buffet, coffee specialties, tea and pastries with a view of the Weser, but also live music from musicians from Bremen and the surrounding area, which rounds off the afternoon perfectly from 1.00 pm to 3.30 pm. And in the summer months every 4th Friday from 18:30 to 21:30 at sunset on the roof terrace! We look forward to seeing you! Free admission.
