Have you heard of Schirrmann's? You'll find this extraordinary Bremen restaurant in Bremen Youth Hostel - in a prime location on the Weser and in the heart of the city. This is where the world meets! This also applies from a culinary point of view: the kitchen serves you an exciting crossover of "international" and "regional". Definitely try it out!

STEFAN THIELEN about himself:

I've been making music since 1985. Initially as a drummer and singer in a rock'n'roll band. Later as a bass player, singer and rhythm guitarist in various country bands.

In 1997 I graduated from SAE Berlin with a degree in audio engineering. Afterwards I was on tour with a touring musical as sound engineer and technical director. After that I also made dance music for a few years. In my own small recording studio I realize various productions

At the moment I play and sing in various projects and bands, but mainly solo. I play guitar/saxophone and sing. You can hear:
Pop/rock, oldies, rock'n roll, country, Irish folk, blues, some jazz, singer-songwriter. Instrumentals, also hits and dance music, etc.

My program consists of a large selection of songs from the last 60 years that I have always enjoyed playing over the years and songs that I have always wanted to play.

The use of a loop station and various other equipment allows me to make my program interesting and versatile

My musical path has already taken me to:
Los Angeles, CA USA, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah (UAE), Switzerland (St Moritz, Lago Magiore, Saas Fee and many more), Austria, BeNeLux, Spain (Mallorca & mainland), and all over Germany. I like to be on the road very often and always like to play my music selection for the people somewhere else.

Since August 2024 we offer you a special opportunity every second Sunday: at "Schirrmann's Lunch & Music".
You can expect not only delicacies à la carte, our varied buffet, coffee specialties, tea and pastries with a view of the Weser, but also live music from musicians from Bremen and the surrounding area, who round off the afternoon perfectly from 1.00 pm to 3.30 pm. And in the summer months every 4th Friday from 18:30 to 21:30 at sunset on the roof terrace! We look forward to seeing you! Free admission.
