The Braunschweig Palace Museum in the reconstructed Residential Palace takes you on a journey through time: If you open the large wooden doors on the northern (left) side of the palace, you enter the atmosphere of the former Brunswick court.
The palace museum conveys the development of the Brunswick residential palace in an authentic historical location: its furnishings, its inhabitants and its functions. Portraits of princes, furniture and arts and crafts provide a link to the reign of Duke Wilhelm (1830-1884).
Special exhibitions and events provide insightful information on selected chapters of the palace's history.
Enjoy art and travel back in time to courtly culture in the rooms of the Enfilade, immerse yourself in the selected themes of the changing special exhibitions, "hands on" with our information panels in the gallery corridor and enjoy castle history with the "Historical Menu": you are very welcome!
