✨ Candle Workshop: Personalized Shell Candles with Gold Leaf ✨

Immerse yourself in the world of Nymphenwerk and create your own decorative candle—embellished with a real, custom-designed shell. Each candle is one-of-a-kind: You’ll paint your oyster or mussel shell with high-quality acrylic paints, add freshwater pearls as small, sparkling accents, and embellish it—just the way you like—with real gold leaf.

The base: 30% beeswax, 70% soy wax—all-natural

We deliberately use a blend of beeswax and soy wax because beeswax offers unique benefits:

• Longer-lasting, even burn —beeswax melts more slowly than pure soy wax, thereby extending the burn time
• A subtle, natural scent of beeswax —completely free of artificial fragrances
• Lower soot production and cleaner burning compared to many conventional waxes
• A renewable, natural raw material produced through traditional craftsmanship
• A warm, creamy flame that creates a particularly cozy atmosphere

When combined with soy wax, the result is a candle that is plant-based and sustainable while also benefiting from the natural properties of beeswax—completely free of palm wax or paraffin.

The Glass Jar – Limited Edition

The candle is presented in an elegant glass jar with a bamboo lid, currently available in a beautiful deep shade of green.

The glass jar is much more than just a candle holder: once the candle has burned down, it becomes an elegant little container for bath salts, cotton pads, jewelry, or other small treasures—giving this lovingly designed piece a second life.

What to expect in the workshop:

• Natural materials
• Instructions for decorating the shell with acrylic paints and optional gold leaf
• Freshwater pearls for personal decoration
• Your finished, personalized decorative candle to take home

A relaxed, creative afternoon at Schlosspalais N°1—perfect for you alone, with friends, or as a special experience for a bachelorette party.

Safety instructions for the candle:

• Only burn the candle on a heat-resistant, fireproof surface
• Never leave the candle burning unattended
• Keep out of reach of children and pets
• Keep a safe distance from flammable materials (curtains, paper, decorations)
• Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each use
• Do not move the candle while it is burning
• Protect from drafts; do not burn near open windows
• For the first few times, let the candle burn down to the wax level (prevents “tunneling”)
• Extinguish the candle in a timely manner before leaving the room

Note on Materials & Decorations:

• Shells, beads, gold leaf, and acrylic paints are for decorative purposes only and are not suitable for consumption
• Not suitable for children under 3 years of age (small parts that could be swallowed: beads, shell fragments)
• Natural product (seashell): Shape, color, and grain may vary depending on the individual piece—each piece is one-of-a-kind

To reuse the glass:

• Please clean thoroughly before reusing as a container (e.g., for salts or cosmetics)
• The glass is not intended for contact with food

• Handcrafted one-of-a-kind item—minor variations from the images are possible and are part of the individual craftsmanship
