„Schönheit der Religionen" – Poetry-Slam, Konzert und Klang
In the organizer's words:
Under the title "Beauty of Religions", the begegnen e.V. association is organizing an interreligious cultural event that will take place on three consecutive evenings in Wuppertal, Bochum and Münster. The program combines poetry slam, music and sound art to create an artistic experience that focuses on the inspiring aspects of religious traditions.
The three poetry slammers Lamyae Adnine, Finn Holitzka and Henrik Szántó will take to the stage to present texts from different religious perspectives. The festival will be accompanied musically by the Israeli-Iranian ensemble Sistanagila, which will play works from centuries-old Jewish and Iranian musical traditions as well as contemporary compositions. Sound collages by artist Marcus Beuter, based on interviews with people who talk about the beauty of religions, will be played between the texts and the music. The collages connect the individual contributions and offer a special acoustic space for encounters and reflection.
