Theater & music performance about the shift to the right in society

Since the beginning of the year, many people in Germany have been taking to the streets to demonstrate against the so-called "Alternative for Germany" and the growing right-wing extremism. The inhumane plan of "remigration", which these right-wing extremists are now openly propagating, has startled even those who previously thought they were not being targeted by right-wing extremists.

But how has it come to this, that right-wing extremists have come to dominate social discourse and win over so many people, including those in the "center"?

"Herrschafts Zeiten" uncovers the right-wing extremists' plan and shows the first, as yet unpublished minutes of "Thüringen TV"! A special highlight: the release of the only true songs against the right! Because the direction the right-wing extremists want to take if society does not oppose them is "times of domination".

Against the backdrop of an increasingly polarized society in which far-right movements and ideologies are gaining influence, "Herrschafts Zeiten" not only examines the direct impact of far-right ideologies on the political system, but also takes a critical look at the underlying social tensions and fears that fuel such movements.

However, racism and misanthropic ideologies have not only been deeply rooted in German society for the last ten years. Literary and biographical texts from the 1910s and 1970s to the present day by women from Turkey, who describe their lives and experiences in Germany, show how German society has developed and evolved.

"Herrschafts Zeiten" sheds light on the interdependencies between politics, the media, society and individual actions that have made right-wing extremism, which has always existed in German society and is now becoming ever more prevalent, more acceptable in recent decades.

The characters in the play, including activists, politicians, journalists and citizens, are confronted with the challenges and moral dilemmas associated with this development.

The play is based on a collection of letters, diaries, reports, literary texts, scientific studies and experiences of contemporary witnesses.
