On Saturday, 25.05.2024, the school community of the private Karl-Müchler-School in Dortmund is celebrating a big summer party with many creative contributions and prominent guests. Interested parents and pupils are welcome to gain an insight into school life at the private school on Lake Phoenix and to visit teaching sequences at secondary levels I and II. The festival will be accompanied by TV presenters Shary Reeves (Wissen macht Ah!, WDR) and Malte Arkona (Die beste Klasse Deutschlands, ARD), poetry slammer Christofer mit F and actress Anouschka, who have prepared an informative entertainment program. Motivational coach Detlef D! Soost and "Hobbythek" legend Jean Pütz are also actively contributing to the festival. But the pupils of the Karl-Müchler-Schule have also prepared a lot for the day. Among other things, they have created an elaborate room installation, rehearsed multimedia stage performances and musical interludes and exhibited works of art.

As a state-approved supplementary school, the Karl-Müchler-Schule has been offering an individualized alternative to the state school system for over 40 years. During this time, around 1,500 students have obtained their Abitur, the Fachoberschulreife and, more recently, the Fachabitur at the school. The combination of committed, competent teachers, small class groups and modern, individualized teaching forms the basis for being able to respond to the specific educational needs of each student in a special way and to successfully lead the students to the school-leaving qualification they are aiming for.
