For fifteen years, the Scandinavian Ensemble has been bringing the magic of Luciafest to Bavaria - with glowing voices, Nordic sound culture and a unique combination of music, light and community. To mark its anniversary, the choir is celebrating its big concert in St. Matthew's Church for the first time and invites you to an evening that combines tradition, emotion and contemporary choral music.

Under the direction of Elin Keim, over 50 singers will perform a festive program of classic Lucia songs, Swedish Christmas melodies and the world premiere of "Vintervila", composed by Henrik Ajax, winner of the 2018 Bavarian Art Prize.

The ensemble will be accompanied by Charlotte Deimel (violin, nyckelharpa) and Henrik Ajax on the piano. Special guest Andrea Stjernedal, singer from Gothenburg and former member of the ensemble, returns to the stage for this evening.

A concert full of light and warmth that brings the magic of Scandinavian choral music to Munich's Advent season - authentic, touching and unique.
