What the annual data harvest reveals about changes in the Arctic Ocean
The lecture tells about the scientific (garden) work at HAUSGARTEN, a long-term marine observatory in the Arctic. Researchers from various disciplines are working together to investigate the effects of climate change on the polar marine ecosystem - from the surface of the water to the deep sea floor. In addition to science, it is about everyday life and work on the research vessel Polarstern, about discoveries on a small scale and the fascination of an icy, unique world.
