The Science Slam is organized as part of the HI-FIVE research project on new therapies for heart failure. Project partners include the Leibniz Institute for Analytical Sciences (ISAS) e.V., the Heart and Diabetes Center NRW, and Lead Discovery Center GmbH.

Science doesn’t have to be dry: At the Dortmund Science Slam, you can expect exciting research topics, surprising insights, and plenty of entertainment.

Six early-career scientists will take on the challenge of presenting their research on stage in just ten minutes—in a way that’s understandable, creative, and captivating. Whether it’s mind-blowing experiments, the latest research findings, or fascinating insights into the world of science: here, knowledge comes to life and is conveyed in an entertaining way.

Best of all: At the end, you and the audience get to decide who delivered the most compelling presentation and takes home the title of Science Slam champion.
