The famous US artist collective Postmodern Jukebox is currently celebrating a double milestone with a major world tour: their 10th tour anniversary and their thousandth show in 2024! Great news for German fans, as the outstanding concert group will be returning to Germany for 13 more shows in September/October 2024.

Concertgoers can look forward to a dazzling and inspiring journey through the PMJ universe, where modern catchy tunes and iconic pop hits are reinterpreted in classic genres such as jazz, swing, doo-wop and 1920s Motown and brought to life by some of the world's best singers, dancers and instrumentalists. Imagine "The Great Gatsby" meets "Sinatra at the Sands" meets "Back! ...To The Future".

When pianist Scott Bradlee launched the time-warping musical collective in a basement apartment in Queens, New York, a "viral" online success story was born that quickly led to sold-out shows across North America and Europe in the summer of 2014. The tour received rave reviews from both trade magazines and world-renowned artists. In the years that followed, "PMJ" earned a reputation as "Saturday Night Live for singers" by introducing audiences to dozens of extraordinary musicians, many of whom had previously been overlooked by the modern record industry, and turning them into bona fide stars.

Ten years and two billion views of their YouTube channel later, the Postmodern Jukebox show has become something of an annual music tradition for hundreds of thousands of loyal fans around the world - fans who often show up in their old clothes to share in the experience. "By the end of 2023, PMJ will have played 937 shows in 44 countries on 5 continents," says Bradlee, who creates the musical arrangements and directs the shows. "This longevity in an industry that is notoriously volatile was completely unexpected for us. There is no secret formula, just an obsession with classical sounds and a commitment to showcasing phenomenal talent.
