In the organizer's words:
In the Self Empowerment group program for family caregivers of people with dementia, family caregivers meet and learn in the group to use their strengths and develop an attitude of self-care. Through interactive exercises and open exchange, participants learn strategies to find new support in the stressful role of carer. The group is led by Elisabeth von Leliwa.
The group meets on Mondays from 6-7.30 p.m. in the Salzmannbau community center in the seminar room on the second floor and is free of charge. Registration for the respective date at buergerhaussalzmannbau@duesseldorf.de is required.
