Sempf are four guys from Hamburg who have never seen "semi-professional" as an excuse, but as an attitude. What began as a tongue-in-cheek self-description has long since become a promise: uncompromising pop-punk that prefers to offend rather than conform. And when Sempf take to the stage, this promise quickly turns into movement - in the mind and in the mosh pit.

With unconventional pop-punk between melody and mosh pit, they combine energy with attitude. Driving drums, sharp-edged riffs and lyrics that oscillate between self-irony, social criticism and a clear political edge make their shows a collective outlet - loud, approachable and always attentive.

The new EP "Ein Hoch auf die Eine (Firma mit dem Haus am See)" will be released on May 29. The five songs move between small-town clichés and anti-fascist anthems, between danceable debunking of false progressiveness and ironic reckoning with German pop coziness. Sempf manage to understand seriousness and humor not as opposites, but as a common drive.
