Holding on to or letting go of memories - A conversation about how we preserve happy moments and when we let go of "dusty" things with Bettina Heiroth from Büro- und Ordnungsservice

Over the years, we collect many things from life events and store them in photo albums, boxes or drawers. There's the concert ticket from the Puhdys next to grandma's cake recipe. And the thought of growing old like a tree makes us shudder at the many colorful leaves that this tree will shed. That's why it's worth taking a look at the things we own and which of them still bring back fond memories. Where do you keep your memories? Do you keep a diary or an annual calendar with your favorite experiences?

We share our experiences about what we keep and where we keep it. How do we deal with things that we no longer like but that are too good to throw away? What prevents us from letting go of old things? What is of sentimental value to us and what actually burdens us? Where, for example, can we give away useless gifts and worn-out books with a clear conscience? You can expect an exchange of experiences with practical tips on how to go through the new year tidied up. Feel free to bring along a small object that you would never give away.
