FRANZ FUEXE (VIENNA)

Over ten years on the hump, four albums in the bones and Franz Fuexe are still not tired of giving you hell. Other bands have grown up after such a long time and are heading for a well-deserved musical midlife crisis. Fuexe could also age gracefully, they have now reached the cultural Olympus - but they don't want to!

Incidentally, this is what Austrian bestselling author Elias Hirschl has to say about Franz Fuexe:

"Franz Fuexe combine the best of punk and rap: violence against Nazis and the police. Since their debut album Nihilismus 0.0 (2014), the four Mostviertel natives have been actively working to be placed under observation by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution. In the turquoise-souled Alpine state, anyone earning less than 2,000 euros is considered left-wing extremist anyway, but when you buy a Fuexe record, you can literally feel the breath of counter-terrorism breathing down your neck.

Franz Fuexe are the best and only punk band in Austria and tomorrow in the whole world! And I'm not just saying that because they're threatening me and my family with physical violence."

What the idiot has forgotten is that the fourth album has been out since 2022. The record is called like the band itself, music fans call such an album Selftitled, but you can call it Franz Fuexe if you like. And now do what Elias said and buy yourself, your loved ones and anyone else you want to do something for.
