Anyone who has seen Narkose or Die Verlierer in Heidelberg in recent months will also like this band. Raw, loud, without detours. With Sexverbot , the Berlin label Bretford brings another, no less noisy punk band to Carousel. The sound of the Berliners is reminiscent of the punk of past decades, but the lyrics are more contemporary than many might like.

Plus: the duo Dustsuck(!)er from Leipzig with post-punk and grunge between seriousness and bullshit.

And because we didn't want to go home right after the last song on a Friday night like this, DJ FFWD plays the finest punk, eggpunk and garage vinyl.

Whether capitalism fever dreams ("Ich bin verliebt"), social coldness and concrete tristesse ("Täglich grüßt die Monarchie"), self-destruction as the only way out ("Der Antagonist") or a middle finger to esoteric disciples ("Mystic Shit") - on "Sexverbot" short, concise, uncompromising songs are presented. Similar to the pioneers of past decades, the album reflects the lack of perspective and anger of a generation. The self-titled debut was produced by Lorenz Szukal (Die Verlierer) and will be released on Bretford records (LP/digital) and Mangel records (tape).
