Sharon Brauner and Karsten Troyke are two Berlin-born actors and singers who turned to Yiddish music at a young age. Karsten in the eastern part of the city, Sharon in West Berlin. Independently of each other, both gave numerous concerts in Germany and Europe. But it was a festival in New York in 2015, at which both artists performed, that brought the two together musically. Since then, they have delighted audiences throughout Germany together - in over 200 concerts. Now the two artists are presenting their favorite songs together, accompanied by pianist Harry Ermer and violinist Daniel Weltlinger. Songs in Yiddish about life and love. Yiddish evergreens in a new guise as well as their own renditions of well-known songs and new songs. Music for the soul, music that makes you happy. Also audible at home on their CD "Yiddish Berlin", which they released together in 2018.
