Shelter celebrate 30 years of Mantra with major European tour

Shelter will be touring Europe in 2024 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their iconic album Mantra. Mantra was released in 1993 and is a milestone of Krishna-Core, a unique blend of hardcore punk and the spiritual teachings of Krishna Consciousness. With this album, Shelter not only shaped the hardcore scene, but also inspired a generation that was searching for a deeper meaning in music.

Ray Cappo, frontman and co-founder of the band, describes the essence of Mantra as follows: "The biggest illusion is that we are just our bodies. Mantra reminds us that we are so much more". This message runs throughout Shelter's music and reflects their desire to take hardcore beyond mere rebellion as a path to personal reflection and inner growth.
