Shibari introductory workshop with Maria Morbid (Module 1)
Shibari is a bondage art originating from Japan that involves tying people up with ropes. In this workshop, I will introduce you to the basics and share my enthusiasm for ropes with you. After this introduction, you will have the first steps at hand to further deepen your bondage practice - with yourself and with others.
In the theoretical part of this workshop, we will discuss the historical and cultural background, material science as well as communication and safety basics. The practical part focuses on handling the rope and learning the basic knots. Following on from this, we will experiment with self-bondage on the leg and a decorative upper body harness on a counterpart.
It is possible to register as a couple or alone. Please come in comfortable, sporty clothing. Ropes are available for all participants. This workshop is aimed at people with no previous experience. People of all genders, bodies and sexual orientations are welcome. <3
