Shoes Bakery - Folk, Bluegrass, Old-Time und Country

The fact that the brothers from "Shoes Bakery" have always dedicated their musical work entirely to American music is probably just as obvious as the fact that the two have already clocked up many a mile on their touring speedometer.

Johnny and Basti can be heard with the retro rock & roll band "Midge's Pocket" as well as with the bluegrass combo "Johnny & the Yooahoos", the latter of which has already been on a 5-week US tour and even played renowned venues such as the "Grand Ole Opry" or the "Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival".

The fact that the brotherly duo is now also taking to the stage as a duo is probably due to the sheer endless range of Americana music and the associated need of the two of them to perform not only their own songs but also the less obvious works from folk, bluegrass, old-time and country in public.

It goes without saying that the whole thing can only be performed with the help of a rich selection of American stringed instruments... whether for the folk novice or the acoustic connoisseur - there's something for everyone here!
