In the organizer's words:
As part of a two-week rehearsal residency at zeitraumexit, the OSTsisters collective offers a glimpse into their work on “Still.leben – an artistic autopsy,” an ecofeminist docu-performance about the body, wood, and memory. The starting point is the wooden figures by the Latvian sculptor Miķelis Pankoks, created in a psychiatric clinic in Switzerland, where the artist had fled during World War II. On stage, a nude model encounters the wooden objects and allows the wood to speak of trauma, migration, and healing.
“Still.Leben” is part of the program celebrating zeitraumexit’s 25th anniversary.
