If Betty's Black Pearl smells of groove, feeling and slightly sweaty happiness, then they are not far away: The ShuffleCasters. As a real regular at the Black Pearl, they have long been more than just a band - they are an institution. Or as they say here: a real pearl of Betty's Blues Club.

The ShuffleCasters serve up classic blues and gritty blues rock, spiced up with plenty of American soul and, of course, what their name promises: shuffle, shuffle, shuffle! This swinging rhythm gets straight to your feet, even if you just wanted to pop in for a drink.

With them, live means: tangible groove, honest blues, energetic stage presence and those moments when you realize that the blues doesn't make you sad - it's a hell of a lot of fun. Their own interpretations meet classic blues rhythms, and by the third song at the latest, the whole place is bobbing to the beat.
