When classical music meets jazz with incredible talent

Shuteen Erdenebaatar, born in Ulaanbaatar, is an award-winning composer and pianist who stands out with her unique melodies and profound harmonies. She began her musical training as a classical musician and later switched to jazz music, where she found her own voice. Erdenebaatar has won numerous awards, including the German Jazz Award 2024 and the BMW Young Artist Jazz Award 2022. Her compositions have been played by leading orchestras and she leads several world-class ensembles. In 2023, she signed a contract with Motema Music and her first album Rising Sun was released to great acclaim.
