SIGN CITY II

In the organizer's words:

With the exhibition SIGN CITY II, the Urbanshit Gallery brings the street into the gallery in the literal sense of street art and swaps the public space with the gallery space for a few weeks. Over 40 works by 25 international artists will be exhibited exclusively on old street signs.

For the group exhibition, the Urbanshit Gallery has invited 25 international artists to exhibit works that are painted and sprayed exclusively on traffic signs and signs from public spaces. The traffic signs will not hang on the walls of the gallery as usual, but will be presented in a kind of sign forest, as they can be found on the street.

The exhibition can be visited for four weeks from April 12, 2024 in the centrally located gallery in Ottensen. The visit is free of charge.
