Siina Suutarinen

Siina Suutarinen is a Finnish singer, composer and pianist who became known on the Finnish jazz scene at a young age and has steadily built up an international career with her English-language repertoire. She is currently studying jazz singing at the Sibelius Academy. Known for her smooth and distinctive tone - often compared to that of Diana Krall - Suutarinen adds a unique artistic touch to her music. She demonstrates her musical versatility by also accompanying herself on piano and synthesizer, setting her apart from many other singers. In 2026, she will perform with her band Siina Suutarinen Super Sonic at jazz festivals and clubs in Finland and internationally. The band's sound combines vocal-oriented jazz with modern, partly electronic sounds. The aim is to bring fresh, innovative jazz to a wide audience and thus contribute to making the genre more accessible. Suutarinen has already been awarded several scholarships and is also active in ensembles such as New3, Kanvas and the vocal group CALLA.
