What is special about this concert?
We will show you the roots of classical music: dance or utility music and folklore. In our program, Mozart and Ravel are set in relation to each other. In this way you can hear how Ravel - for whom Mozart was a god - continues his tradition and at the same time takes up Spanish influences. You can then experience this in its purest form after the concert, namely in our supporting program in the Salon Pitzelberger: hot flamenco rhythms to round off the evening!

Both are not only great composers, but also masters of instrumentation. This can be heard not only in the world-famous Bolero, but also in the other works on the program. And both create their very own atmospheres by drawing on traditional elements.
