The Aachen-based band SinFronteras brings a danceable mix of ska, reggae and Latin to the stage. With their new single "Mentiras" (Lies), which will be released on all platforms from May, the band delivers fresh sounds that go straight to the legs. The song will be presented live on 12.06.2026 at Frankenberg Castle - a special moment for the band and the audience. Neither feet nor thoughts can stand still while listening.
Lead singer and heart of the band, Juan Pablo Raimundo, writes in Spanish about his home country El Salvador and also addresses global, political issues. "Bailar pensando" - dancing and thinking - remains the band's central message and motto.

The sound of the ten-piece formation has plenty of oomph and impresses with its versatility. Between the verses, the well-rehearsed brass trio provides additional energy with passionate improvisation and finely tuned harmonies. Groovy basslines and tight drums drive forward and make it hard to stand still. Those who let themselves be carried away by the melodies can often sing along to the choruses and quickly become part of the whole.

Solidarity and friendship, but also the denunciation of discrimination and corruption find their place in Raimundo's lyrics. The singer was already committed to fighting social injustice in his home country, a cause that SinFronteras now carries forward musically.

Sometimes socially critical, sometimes emotional and romantic, but always carried by danceable rhythms: The band remains true to its motto bailar pensando in its music and lyrics.
