In the organizer's words:
On September 26, eight Hamburg choirs—comprising about 140 singers—will fill the Heilgarten in the heart of Volkspark with song. The program ranges from pop and world music to folk and Scandinavian choral music. But it’s not just about listening: The audience is repeatedly invited to sing along and become part of the musical experience.
The festival also features a large potluck buffet. Anyone who’d like to is welcome to bring finger foods, vegetables and dips, salad, quiche, fruit, cake, cookies, or a dessert.
