Sivert Høyem is considered one of Norway's most distinctive voices and is coming to Germany on tour in February 2026. Deep, melancholic and at the same time intensely emotional, his voice immediately captivates listeners. Høyem became known as the charismatic frontman of the Norwegian band Madrugada before embarking on an equally successful solo career. His solo albums have gained recognition not only in Norway but also internationally, and on stage he shows why he is considered one of the most intense live artists in Europe: every note, every nuance of his music fills the room and captivates the audience. In 2026, Høyem returns to us with the "I've Been Meaning To Sing You The Song" tour. The tour comprises eight dates, during which he will perform his greatest hits, solo classics such as "Prisoner of the Road", "Moon Landing" or "Into the Sea" and Madrugada's iconic "Majesty". He will also be performing songs from his latest album "Dancing Headlights", which was released at the beginning of 2025. "It's just a pop album. Nothing big to talk about, really - a handful of tightly arranged pop songs, organically recorded with my band and mixed in the greatest possible style," says Høyem himself. In "Dancing Headlights", he shows an unusually poppy, yet handmade side: five musicians live in the studio, distorted guitars, organic production and timeless melodies. Songs like "Dancing Headlights" or "Love vs. the World" are reminiscent of the glorious eighties, while "Living it Strange" tells a love story from the abyss with aggressive guitars, boogie rhythms and glam rock echoes. "Hollow" and "Some Miserable Morning" show Høyem's emotional range - from melancholic to euphoric, always close to the audience. 2026 will be a special year for Høyem: his two solo albums "Lioness" and "Exiles" celebrate anniversaries and the musician himself turns fifty. The "I've Been Meaning To Sing You The Song" tour combines these milestones with new songs, rarely performed rarities and intimate moments that define the true spirit of Sivert Høyem.
