Friedrich Greiling, aka FreeDaRich, akaMittekill, has been shaking upthe club scene since the turn of the millennium with techno-blues, electro-chansons, and punk-house. Brutal elegance, uncompromising diversity, and hypnotic dynamics define his music. It serves as the magic carpet for his rebellious prose, with which he satirizes the state of our times—sometimes desperately, sometimes with a wink. Mittekill transforms that sense of unease—somewhere between pathos, pose, and farce—into a dance floor witha rich, full sound, only to whisk us away to a completely different place the very next moment with a piano ballad.
