Slackline Event im Universum Bremen

Balance, thrills and lots of hands-on fun

From 23 to 26 May, you can fly high in front of and inside Universum® - in the truest sense of the word: together with the Slacklining Bremen association, we are organizing a slackline experience at lofty heights over the long Whitsun weekend.

Ropes will be stretched above your heads between the special and permanent exhibition buildings and the 27-meter-high "Tower of the Air" in the outdoor area. Experienced slackliners from all over Germany will be giving spectacular performances several times a day on all four days. On Whit Sunday, between 5.00 and 7.00 pm, the slackliners will comment on the action and accompany it with music, while snacks and drinks are served.

You are also welcome to try your hand at slacklining for the first time! You will receive helpful tips from the professionals on the low-tension ropes on the forecourt. The offer is complemented by other balancing stations that playfully challenge your balance.
Those with sufficient skill and stamina can take the plunge on a slackline stretched eight meters above the ground inside the whale. This leads across the second floor of the permanent exhibition and offers up to twelve participants per hour the opportunity to test their balance with this unique view into the interior of the Universum® - under expert guidance, of course.
