Slow Fashion – verstehen, umdenken, weitertragen

In the organizer's words:

What is actually behind cheap, readily available clothing - and what would be a different way of thinking about fashion? This talk is about slow fashion, the consequences of fast fashion and small, realistic steps we can take to be more conscious about the way we use clothes.

Finally, it gets practical:

In a small upcycling workshop, we will make braided bracelets from the old jersey fabrics you have brought with you and try out directly how new things are created from existing ones.

Speaker Stefanie Panholzer is a trained fashion designer and runs a small upcycling label. Stefanie has specialized in textile circular economy and is currently deepening this focus in her master's degree in textile and business-related fields. She has been an ambassador for the Fashion Revolution Group Hamburg since 2021.
